URBACT is a European funding program for sustainable urban development financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the 27 EU member states, Norway and Switzerland. It supports participating city administrations in developing and implementing a concept for their local challenge through networks with other European cities and a group of local stakeholders.
The programme is open to all topics in the field of urban development, with a particular focus on climate, digitalization and gender equality in this funding period.
Municipalities that have implemented an urban development measure that is effective, participatory, inclusive and transferable are invited to apply for the URBACT Good Practice Call.
Cities that are awarded with the URBACT Good Practice Label will gain visibility at EU level and have the opportunity to have the measure transferred to other European cities within the URBACT transfer network. The call is open until June 30th, click here to apply.
